The rules of the game are simple: the player must beat the value of the dealer’s hand with their own, without exceeding a total of 21. A win pays at 3 to 2, with an optional insurance bet of 2 to 1 that pays on the push. These are standard blackjack rules, found at most tables online and offline. There are also additional bets to be made at the player’s discretion - and the option to ‘bet behind’ as well.

Bet behind

Blackjack Party has room for seven active players at the table. These players are ranked on a running leaderboard of gold medals, indicating hot streaks and winning hands. However, other players can join the Blackjack Party while waiting their turn at the table, thanks to the Bet Behind option. To bet behind, select one of the active players (especially one who is performing well) and bet against their hand, and their decisions. Payouts and odds are the same as you would find if you played the hand yourself.

Side bets

There are two side bet options in Blackjack Party: Perfect Pairs and the 21+3. Both are optional and must be placed at the same time as the ante and deal. In Perfect Pairs, players get 12:1 on any hand of two that wins with a matched pair - either the same colour, or the same suit. In 21+3, players use their first two cards, plus the dealer’s face-up card, to make a three-card poker hand. This pays 5:1 for a flush, up to 50:1 for a suited triple.
